Back in 1979, Mr. Romeo Angulo the son of Mr. Denis, the owner of "Casa Denis" had the idea of opening a restaurant with the idea to serve his customers great Mexican dishes at low prices.

Under the direction of Mr. Romeo and Mr. Denis this restaurant became one of Cozumels favorites, because of it's big variety of Mexican and sea food. Also recognized for their great Margaritas and the specialties dishes such as lobster tail, different style dishes of red snapper filet, meat platters, fajitas and the skirt "Tex-Mex" style.

Today and forever "LAS TORTUGAS" will be one of the greatest restaurants in Cozumel.

En 1979 Don Romeo Angulo, el hijo de Don Denis Angulo, dueño del restaurante "Casa Denis" tuvo la idea de abrir este restaurante con la finalidad de ofrecer a su clientela platillos Mexicanos de buena calidad y a un precio razonable.

Bajo la dirección de Don Denis y Don Romeo este restaurante llegó a ser uno de los favoritos de Cozumel por su gran variedad de comida Mexicana y de mariscos. También es reconocido por sus excelentes Margaritas y por sus platillos de especialidades como son la cola de langosta, las diferentes recetas que ofrecemos de filete de huachinango, nuestras parrilladas de carnes, las fajitas y arrachera estilo "TEX-MEX".
